How To Fix Business Pro Theme Bullet Points And Spacing Problem

Why is the formatting different on the published page of the Business Pro WordPress theme than what is displayed in the dashboard? How can I fix this problem? Fixing the bullet points and spacing issues in the WordPress Business Pro Theme is simple. It’s an easy code change that will correct the formatting problem.

I made this video because I am an armature when it comes to working with css, php or html code. One of the things that has greatly irritated me for the past seven years while making money on the Internet is when people write out a fix for a coding problem; the average Joe (me) doesn’t understand what the coder is talking about. Unless there’s a video that shows exactly how to fix the error in the php, css or html coding, I more often than not just give up and hire someone to correct the problem.

When I figured out this easy way to correct the formatting problem with the Business Pro theme for my WordPress blog, I made the youtube video within an hour. When I visited the forum for the Business Pro theme there were numerous posts from people having problems with the paragraph spacing and bullet points. I clearly saw an opportunity to help people with this frustrating issue. Additionally, I saw numerous posts from people having problems with the cell phone display of their Business Pro site on iPhone and android smartphones.

Steps For Fixing Formatting Issues With The Business Pro WordPress Theme

  1.  Go to the product page (Click Here) and download the theme folder. You are doing this in case you make a mistake with the code change. Inside the folder is the “style sheet” code that can be pasted into place to restore the code to its original state if you make a mistake.
  2. Login to your WordPress dashboard.
  3. Select the “Appearance” icon in the left sidebar of your dashboard and then click on “Editor”.
  4. Once on the editor page, in the right sidebar you will see the “style sheet css” page, click on that selection.
  5. In the very beginning  of this code there’s an asterisk followed by a forward slash followed by a block of text and then closed with a forward slash and an asterisk (highlight and cut this lower code out).
  6. Paste the code asterisk and forward slash at the end of this line (@import url(css/reset.css);)…
  7. Click on update file and allow a little time for the change to go through your hosting files.
  8. Go to one of your published pages that had the formatting issues and if the changes aren’t showing refresh the page.
  9. If you refresh the page and the changes still don’t show, clear your browser cookies and then refresh the page again.

That’s really all there is to it for fixing the bullet point and spacing problem in the Business Pro WordPress theme. You only have to move two characters from one location to another.
